Just Geoff
I have a wide business experience, cumulating in being Managing Director for over twenty years. I have thrived on diversity and change during my many years of general management, having delivered operational success, embraced multiple business functions, and concentrating on team and people development.​
Joining WIS initially in early 2002,
I successfully turned around a loss-making business into the UK's most profitable outsourcing Asset Protection Company, part of a Global US owned organisation which is now the world number one premium supplier of Inventory Service.​
I started my career as a salesperson within the John Lewis Partnership, progressing to Rumbelows electrical retailers, a business owned by Thorn PLC. I was appointed Store Manager at the age of 21. At the age of 27 I progressed to Regional Manager of Radio Rental Midlands, comprising of over 120 rental outlets with £40M revenues. During Thorn’s major restructure I was promoted to Regional General Manager and successfully integrated several businesses into one streamlined function, which comprised of Sales, Distribution, Service, Debt Management and Slot Meter Operations.​
Following the successful sale of Thorn to Nomura I was Appointed Divisional Sales and Operations Manager for the newly created Retail Division of Tiny Computers Ltd, a privately owned direct sales business. After the opening and roll out of over 100 retail outlets during 1999 and strong sales revenues I was asked to head Tiny’s expansion start up within North America. As Vice President in Tiny North America, I had sole responsibility and accountability for the expansion of the brand and business across the west coast of America.
After three years in Seattle I returned to the UK to join WIS International, being appointed Managing Director in 2002. Leaving in 2021 to establish Just Geoff Ltd. I have a passion for people in business, building successful teams and developing organisational performance and profitability.​
